Why is Hyde Park a bus question and a drive question?
We did not verify a walking route from Centro to Hyde Park, so the choices are the bus, the bike or the car. Route 7 is the bus link CapMetro names for Hyde Park. It also lists Highland Station and ACC Highland as destinations, so a rider can reach it from two points near Centro.
The first leg is the catch. Highland Station is about 1.3 miles on foot from Centro, and the Camino La Costa stops that Google Maps showed for route 337 are about 0.3 miles away. We have not confirmed that a 337 rider reaches route 7 without a long wait. Ask the CapMetro trip planner for your day and time, and read the car-free commute guide.
How do I decide if the trip works for me?
Try the trip once at the hour you would use it. Time the first leg from your door to the stop as well as the ride. Take the bus if you plan to, or drive and note the time each way. If the trip fits, the price gap may matter more than the extra miles. If it does not, ACC Highland and Crestview are closer.
