Prices and specials
How much is a studio at Centro?
Homes start at $699. As listed November 2, 2026, 2nd floor studios were $699 to $1,099 and 1st floor studios $729 to $1,114 a month. Prices change daily, so call for today's studios.
Is there a move-in special?
Homes starting at $699 plus up to 8 weeks free on select floor plans. Offers vary by floor plan. Ask the office which studios and lease terms the special applies to today.
How long is a rent quote valid?
Centro honors a rent quote for 2 business days.
Deposits, fees and applying
What is the deposit?
Studio deposits start at $500. The amount for your studio comes with your quote.
Is the application fee refundable?
No. The $50 application fee is non-refundable. The administrative fee is returned if your application is denied.
How long can a studio be held?
A unit can be held for a maximum of 14 days.
How do I apply?
Apply online through the Centro application portal, or book a tour first and apply after you see your studio. Ask the leasing office for the qualifying criteria.
Pets
Are pets allowed?
Yes, up to 2 per home. No weight limit; breed restrictions do apply. There is a dog park on site.
What do pets cost?
Per pet: a $150 deposit, a $250 one-time fee and $25 a month in pet rent.
The studio and the community
What is in each studio?
Full kitchen with quartz counters and a red GALANZ fridge, New bathrooms with quartz countertops, Modern fixtures, Hardwood-style floors, Microwave, New energy-efficient A/C and heat, Natural light.
What amenities are there?
Resort pool, Fitness center with new equipment and free weights, Echelon bikes, CoWork space, Grill and Chill courtyard, BBQ and picnic area, Dog park, Bike storage, 24-hour laundry facility, Cable and internet package, Reserved parking available.
Is parking available?
Reserved parking is available. Ask the leasing office about cost and how spaces are assigned.
Is there a furnished option?
Centro lists Furnished Short Term Rentals at $1,954 per month. Contact the office for availability.
Location
How far is Centro from ACC Highland?
About 0.6 mi in a straight line and 1.2 mi by road. Walk 1.2 mi, 26 to 28 min, by Google walking data.
How far is Centro from UT Austin?
About 3.6 mi in a straight line and 5.0 mi by road, about 11 min driving without traffic. Bike 20 to 25 min; bus 48 to 56 min with one transfer.
How far is downtown Austin?
About 4.2 mi in a straight line to Congress Avenue and 5.4 mi by road, about 9 min driving without traffic.
Can I get around without a car?
Route 337 stops on Camino La Costa and Route 300 on St Johns Avenue (CapMetro schedules from August 16, 2026). Highland Station on the MetroRail Red Line is about 0.7 miles away in a straight line.

Can I tour by video?
Yes. Centro offers in-person guided tours and live video tours. Book either one online or by phone.
