A security deposit is a refundable amount you pay to hold a home and protect the owner against damage or unpaid rent. When you move out, the owner checks the home and returns what is left.
To get the full amount back, take photos at move-in, report existing damage in writing and leave the home clean. Read your lease for the return rules.
The deposit is only one move-in cost. Count the deposit, the application fee, any administrative fee, pet charges and your first month’s rent.
At Centro Studio Homes, studio deposits start at $500. The property says fees are estimates and actual amounts may vary, and pricing and availability are subject to change. The amount you pay can depend on your application. Ask the office for the exact deposit on your home.
Example for planning only: a $699 studio with a $500 deposit and the $50 application fee needs $1,249 before pet costs, as a rough start. Add any administrative fee the office quotes.
See all published costs on the deposits page.
