# Application fee

An application fee pays for processing your rental application. At Centro it is $50 and non-refundable.

An application fee covers the cost of reviewing your rental application. That often includes checks on credit, income and rental history.

Most application fees are not refunded, even if the landlord denies the application. That is why you should confirm you can meet the basic rules before you apply. Ask about income and credit criteria first.

Do not mix this up with an administrative fee or a deposit. The application fee is paid when you apply. A deposit is held against damage. An administrative fee is paid at approval.

At Centro Studio Homes, the application fee is $50 and is non-refundable. Fees are estimates and actual amounts may vary.

A smart order of steps:

1.  Tour the home and confirm the price.
2.  Ask the leasing office for Centro’s approval criteria.
3.  Apply, and pay the $50 fee.
